  • Opened sign-ups for my street team
  • Announced that Threats of Sky and Sea will be published May 20, 2014!
  • Sent the first ARC of Threats of Sky and Sea out into the great wide world for review in Inaccurate Realities, a speculative fiction YA literary magazine.
  • Mailed the word document containing Threats of Sky and Sea to my copy editor.
  • Tentatively scheduled my cover reveal
  • Released the first TOSAS Teaser
  • Wrote 10% of the first draft of Book 2!
  • Had a photo shoot for a proper author headshot. Here’s me with the photographer, Angie Myers!

  • Signed up to go to Book Expo America for the third year!
  • Bought a pretty notebook for my favorite book quotes

  1. Your books read list contrasted with the subtitle totally reminds me of Hermione’s “I took this out for a bit of light reading” line.

Anyway, hellz yeah for an amazingly productive February aka the month you became a blood whore like the rest of the bevy, lol.

  2. Seriously, you have been so productive this month! I honestly don’t even know where it went — I blinked and February was over. Still, congratulations on EVERYTHING that you’ve accomplished! So excited for you about TOSAS 🙂

  3. I was on Pinterest and saw your new photo and thought, “OOoooOOOooo new author photos!!!” and then I came directly to your blog!! Love your monthly update! All the best with book two!
